Greenpoint Technologies, a Zodiac Aerospace company, is a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) aircraft interior completion center. The Boeing Business Jet aircraft delivers from The Boeing Company with no interior, and Greenpoint redelivers the aircraft to the end client as a fully furnished and certified “condo and boardroom,†ready for flight. Greenpoint employs a team of over 400 people including interior designers, engineers, certification engineers, manufacturers, installation technicians and support staff. The 787-9 VIP BBJ Azure design is an example of Greenpoint’s concept interior and visualization process.
The visualization process evaluates the decor, functionality and livability of the layout to ensure client satisfaction. Software such as 3D Studio Max, AutoCAD, Photoshop and After Effects are a few programs used to complete the artistic renderings and videos. Cameras and lighting are strategically positioned for composition shots and renders. The interior video includes cinematic camera movement and animated angles which allows the viewer to fly through of the interior. Finishes include adding music, pace and emotion to the final video production.
Azureâ’s inspiration began with the love of the 787’s open architecture and large windows, and grew to embed the client’s energy of curiosity, entrepreneurship and adventure. The progressive design of motion and technological advancements unfold into a unique landscape of engineered artistry.
The Azure interior features an open living space accentuated by the 787 design. It has a forward Master Suite and Private Office with two aft Mini Suites for guest accommodations. The center gathering area includes an Entertainment Lounge and formal Dining Room which surrounds an imaginative sculpture. Additional features include an aft Spa-Serenity Room for exercise and relaxation. The interior achieves both a corporate and personal atmosphere that embraces the experience of business and leisure while connecting the overall signature of the plane.
